ウォーレン・ジヴォンが死を宣告されながらつくった最後のアルバム「WIND」の制作過程を追ったドキュメンタリー。
死を歌ってきた彼が、死を目の前にして、最後のアルバムを作るために生きている姿。それを取り囲む周りの人々、レコーディングに参加したブルース・スプリングスティーンとのやり取りなど。
病気が悪化して足元がおぼつかなくなり、最後にはスタジオに行くことが出来ず、自宅でのレコーディング。
それらが丹念に記録されています。感傷的な表現ではなく... 。
歌を歌うということはどういうことか？生きるということは...？
レコーディング風景とともにウォーレン・ジヴォンはそんなことも深刻になるのではなく、彼らしくさらりと語る。
痩せこけた肉体、必死に振り絞る声、だんだんと耳も遠くなる。
とてもレコーディングなんてできる状態ではないのに、何かに取り憑かれたように歌う... 。
また古くからの仲間も駆けつけ一緒にレコーディング。
