ふるい鉄瓶のご紹介。柳宗悦が東北の民芸、生活の中の美として著書で幾度と讃した「羽広鉄瓶」。
吊るすことに特化した持ち手。見事な曲線を描く裾は効率的な熱伝導を意識したデザイン。
主に山形で多く見られるこの形状はまさに用の美しさを追求したフォルム。
内部サビございますが水漏れはございませんでした。
