そのむかし―仙人は天空の仙人界に、人間は地上の人間界で暮らしていた。/殷の第30代皇帝、若き紂王(ちゅうおう)は文武両道に長けた明君であった。/彼こそは殷を更に発展させるであろうと誰もが思っていた。絶世の美女・妲己(だっき)を娶るまでは…。/妲己は邪心を持つ仙女だった。紂王に術をかけ己の操り人形にしてしまう。さらに仲間を王宮に呼び寄せ、悪しき仙人たちによって王朝の支配を始めたのだった。事態を重くみた仙人界は妲己を人間界から追い出す為、道士・太公望に「封神計画」を命じる。/「封神計画」とは人間界に蔓延る、悪しき仙人妖怪たちの魂魄を仙人界と人間界の間に新たに作った＜神界(しんかい)＞に封印し、人間界に平和を戻す計画であった。/命を受けた太公望は旅路の途中で苦しむ多くの民の姿を見て真の平和のためには悪しき仙人・道士たちの魂魄を封印するだけでなく、殷に代わる新たな王朝をつくる必要があると決意する。殷に攻め入る準備を進める太公望の元に『殷の武成王・黄飛虎窮地』の報せが届く。妲己の策略により、飛虎は愛する妻と妹を殺され失意のなか殷を捨て、西岐へ向かっているとのことだった。/一方、殷では飛虎の裏切りを知り静かに怒りの炎を燃やす男の姿が…。/彼こそは金鰲三強の一人であり、殷の太師である聞仲である。飛虎とは殷の繁栄と安寧のために苦楽を共に過ごした親友であった。自らのけじめとして九竜島の四聖(しせい)を追手に放つ聞仲。/西岐の地を目前に太公望たちと聞仲らの激しい一戦が始まろうとしていた。
