状態の良いオールドハンドルを用意し、別途制作した特別なグリップを取り付けた、カスタムハンドルです。
使用したハンドルブランクは、GEPHARTA Mfg co.製 Actionized 。1950-1960年台の物。
ハンドルブランクのアルミに研磨を施し美装仕上げ。
グリップには真鍮、ウォールナット材、鹿角を使用。
グリップは、大きな真鍮部材をウォールナットで挟み込みそこへ鹿角を合わせた。各素材のサイズ感を揃え主張を同じ程にし、3つの素材を縦横へ対称に切り替えした構成。
フロント部分には真鍮と鹿角をアクセントになる程度で使用。ハンドルのラインと同じになる様に面一に仕上げ。
全体的な形状とバランスからアーリーアメリカンの雰囲気を持たせました。
ウォールナットにはオイルを塗布。
角は光沢と堅牢製を得る為の処理を施してあります。
ニス塗装などの表面処理ではなく、それぞれが素材本来の艶と光沢を醸しています。耐水性もしっかり持たせております。
固定方式は、4点固定式です。
差し込み式ではない二でしっかり固定できます。
差し込みフェルールはφ8mm〜約9.6mmに対応しております。オールドロッドから現行品のフェルールまで対応可能ですが、現行フェルールだと少しキツイものがありました。
内部スリーブを外せば10.mmほどまで使用可能です。
