６V時代のビートルに使われているヒンジミラーのミラーヒンジのネジ山、結構重たい時がありますね。塗膜が厚く乗っていたり、錆びていたり、軽く潰れている箇所があったり等、そのまま無理に締め込めば付くには付くけど、ミラー側のネジ山を痛めてしまったり、固着して外すのが大変になったり、良いことありません。
此処のネジ山は細目で、ホームセンターなんかにも置いていませんし、工具屋さんなんかで取り寄せすると、だいぶ高価です。
海外製のノーブランド品のものですが、新規でネジを作る訳でもない用途なんで、十分しっかりネジ山が切れ役に立ちます。
お値段も国内メーカー製の１／３程度なんで、手元にあると大変便利かと思います。
高価で稀少なミラーのネジ山がバカになったら、、、、悲し過ぎですので。
