パッケージの大きさ約16.5×10.7×3cm
映画『バック・トゥ・ザ・フューチャー』
にタイムマシーンとして改造された状態で
登場し、世界的にその名を知らしめる
ことになったデロリアン。
デロリアンは元GM（ゼネラルモーターズ）
の副社長、ジョン・デロリアン氏が
1975年に理想のクルマ作りを目指して
創業したDMC（デロリアン・モーター・
カンパニー）が1981～1982年に製造。
アメリカ車だが、イギリスで生産され、
エンジンはフランス製2.7リッターV6を
車体中央に積んでいる。
ボディは未塗装のステンレス製の
外板を特徴としており、ドアは鳥が
羽ばたくように開閉するガルウィング式
を採用していた。
実車は未塗装のステンレスが基本
だったが、今回のホットウィールの
ように、オーナーが好みのボディカラー
で塗った個体もごく少数が存在する。
