【CD１枚】輸入盤OJCCD-137-2 チェット・ベイカーの音楽には、説明不要の魅力がある。彼は実人生で闇のすべてを引き受けて、楽器を手にしたときには、音楽のチャームと一体化して、それを自らの演奏力で音にすることだけに専心し、そのことに成功している。この一枚もそういう魅力を満喫できるアルバム。１曲目は、ゆったりとしたテンポで、まどろむように始まる。２曲目はいかにもダンスミュージックといった感じの「一晩中踊り明かそう」。ハービー・マンのフルートもいい。これら２曲は、ミュージカル『マイ・フェア・レディ』から。バックのサックスは、ズート・シムズ。チェットの青春の輝きとは対照的な、彼の大人な野太いサウンドが、音楽に幅と彩を与えている。B・エヴァンスもピアノで参加しているが、それほど目立ったプレイにはなっていない。全体を一貫して、チェットの、オープンで柔らかな明るいトランペットのトーンが響き、心地よさが持続する。NYを中心とするシリアスなジャズは、太陽が輝く昼間にはちょっと聴けないが、彼らのような西海岸のジャズは、午前中でも、午後でも、陽光のもとで部屋で流すことができる。その他写真参照お願いいたします。目視による検査異常なし。中古ですので小さな汚れあります。まとめて買えばお安くなります。Similar Category Items
