英国陶芸家のジェニー・ウィンスタンレイによるサイズ「4」のヴィンテージ作品で、まるで生きているようなホワイト＆ジンジャーの猫です。ビンテージのレアー品で、真ん丸目玉の端正な顔立ち、肢体のバランスも良く、素晴らしい作品です。
特にこの作品は、ウィンスタンレイ特有の「品格」が感じられ、いつまで観ていても飽きることはありません。
ウィンスタンレイ・キャットは、一点一点丁寧に作られており、一目みればそのクオリティーの高さが伝わってきます。
ウインスタンレイ・キャットの一番の特徴は、目です。キャセドラル・グラス・アイと呼ばれるその目は、まるで生きているようで、どこから見てもこちらを追いかけてきます。
特に、この猫の瞳はクリアーです。

（ご参考情報）ウィンスタンレイ キャットの歴史〜ジェニー・ウィンスタンレイ女史が猫を作り始めたのは、のちの夫アレンの工房の助手に応募したのがきっかけでした。1950年代当初はケンジントン工房と呼ばれていましたが、ジェニーの創作した特徴ある猫を1958年から夫婦は作り始め、後にジェニーの旧姓のウィンスタンレイ工房と名乗るようになります。1964年に工房をノーフォークに移転し、米国や仏国、伊国を中心に輸出がはじまります。
90年代の全盛期には5人のスタッフを雇い第2工場も持っていました。ジェニーはすでに2004年に亡くなっていますが、彼女の息子さんたちが後継者となり、今も作品が作られています。
