THE YELLOW MONKEY、26枚目のシングルリリース！2016年に再集結を発表し、第一弾シングルとして「砂の塔」をリリースしたが、あれから9年、THE YELLOW MONKEYにとって今作が26枚目のシングルリリース。
今回の新曲は、シングルとしては初となる作曲：菊地英昭、作詞：吉井和哉で制作され、バンドの世界観はしっかりと貫きつつもTHE YELLOW MONKEYの新境地と言える楽曲に仕上がっている。
一度聞いたら忘れられないフレーズとワードが散りばめられた、渾身の1曲だ。実はこの楽曲は昨年リリースされた10枚目のアルバム「Sparkle X」制作時に並行してレコーディングが行われていたもので、バンドの最新のサウンドの魅力をここでも存分に味わうことができる。
タイトルはまだ発表しておらず、「タイトル内緒」となっており、ぜひ公開まで楽しみにしていただきたい。
