デイトナのハイグレードモデル、アクアプローバHGテンプメーターをZ1系エンジンに取り付けできるセットです。取り付けに必要な部品をすべてセットにしてますので他に用意する物はありません。
ドレンボルトからセンサーを取り出すのが一般的かと思いますが、オイル交換の度に配線を外して、タイラップを切って、また接続して、、という手間も掛かりますし、何度も脱着をしていると断線等の不具合も発生しやすくなります。マフラーによっては配線を溶かすかもしれません。
こちらのセットを使用すればクランクケース右のメクラプラグから油温を取り出せます。位置も目立ちませんし、アルミのアルマイトと違って自然な素材の色ですので旧車に似合うかと思います。真鍮ですので時間の経過と共に表面が変色し味が出てきます。コンパウンドで軽く磨けば元のゴールドに戻ります。一度取り付けをすれば取り外す手間もありません。
