オリエンタルモーターの D-20 ステッピングモーター用ダンパー １個です。ステッピングモーターの振動の抑制し、高速性の改善をする機械式ダンパです。
ステッピングモーターセット UMD268-Bのオプション品で、1980年代の製品でした。
現在は、販売終了しています。
マグネットダンパとはリング状の永久磁石をモータ軸に直結した円盤に吸着させ磁石と円盤との摩擦抵抗で振動を抑えるものです。
1990年代以降は、シリコンゲルの粘性摩擦によるクリーンダンパが主流になり、使われなくなりました。
