Nirvana（ニルヴァーナ）の Kurt Cobain（カート・コバーン）が愛したバンドとして知られている The Vaselines（ザ・ヴァセリンズ）。1992年に本国イギリスのみでリリースされたベスト盤『All the Stuff & More by Vaselines』の裏ジャケットのスカルと星がデザインされたTシャツを入荷！（※このスカルと星は、1989年の1stアルバム『DUM-DUM』にも描かれている。）
The Vaselines（ザ・ヴァセリンズ）は、1987年にスコットランドのエジンバラでシンガー兼ギタリストのユージン・ケリーとフランシス・マッキーによって結成されたオルタナ/インディーロック・バンド。ニルヴァーナが1992年にリリースしたコンピレーション・アルバム 『Incesticide（インセスティサイド）』 にヴァセリンズの 「Son of a Gun（サン・オブ・ア・ガン）」、「Molly’s Lips（モリーズ・リップス）」の2曲のカヴァーが収録されている。また、『MTV Unplugged In New York（MTVアンプラグド・イン・ニューヨーク）』では、「Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam」をカヴァーしている。（※本ベスト盤とニルヴァーナ版のタイトルは「Jesus Doesn’t Wants Me for a Sunbeam」となっている。）
