三宅乱丈
1966年4月24日北海道生まれ。1998年、第3回モーニングMANGA OPEN青木雄二賞を受賞した「ヘビースモーカーの息子」がモーニング（講談社）に掲載されデビュー。主な著作に「ぶっせん」「北極警備隊」「pet」など。2009年に『イムリ』で第13回文化庁メディア芸術祭マンガ部門優秀賞を受賞。ペンネームはミケランジェロに由来する。
