60年代より活動し、ドラムからリード楽器までを操るアメリカ人プレイヤーHal Russellを中心に、Mars Williams、Brian Sandstrom、Kent Kessler、Steve Huntらが参加したグループ、Hal Russell NRG Ensembleが1990年にフィンランドで開催されたThe Tampere Jazz Happeningとスイスで開催されたThe Internationales Jazz Festivalに出演時のライブ・レコーディング音源を収録した、1991年ECMからリリースのアルバム。トランペット、サックスなど多量のリード楽器にギター、ベース、ドラム、パーカッション、ヴァイブラフォン、ディジリドゥなどの強烈なインタープレイが洪水のように溢れかえる、フリー・ジャズ・セッションの極み的パフォーマンスに終始圧倒されます。何らかのエフェクトがかかっているようなディジリドゥの歪んだドローンがヤバイです。

ＣＤ・ケース普通に使用していましたので経年並みの細かな多少の傷はあります。
再生上は問題ありません。
