ダイヤフラムはゴムで出来ていますので、長期間のうち経年劣化で修正が不可能なほど硬化、変形してしまいます。
硬化が進みますと破れ、漏れが発生し気持ち良くエンジンが吹けない、最高速度が伸びない等の症状が現れます。
