2023年7月から放送開始となる「呪術廻戦」第2期。連続2クール内で最初に描かれるのは、五条 悟と夏油 傑の高専時代の物語「懐玉・玉折」。
劇場版にて示唆された五条と夏油の決別した過去がついに明らかとなる。
その後、第1期から続く時間軸の物語「渋谷事変」が描かれる。
10月31日、ハロウィンで賑わう渋谷駅周辺に突如“帳”が下ろされ大勢の一般人が閉じ込められる。
単独で渋谷平定へと向かう五条だが、これは夏油や真人ら呪詛師・呪霊達による罠だった…。
虎杖、伏黒、釘崎といった高専生のメンバーや呪術師たちも渋谷に集結し、
かつてない大規模な戦闘が始まろうしていた。
