| イタリアの偉大な建築家として有名な、Gio Ponti(ジオ ポンテ)(1891～1979) 1891年ミラノに生まれる、イタリアの現代建築、装飾物、絵画なども手がけ、インテリアデザインを定義づける第一人者として活躍した。1923年から1930年にかけてリチャード ジノリ窯にアートデレクターとして招かれポーセリンプロダクションに貢献し、リチャード ジノリの製品を一新するほどの業績を残しました。リチャード ジノリの磁器素材を使った「イタリアン・モダン・アート」を創造し、古典のモチーフからインスピレーションを得て、それを自由にに分離、統合させて「ネオクラシック」作品を生み出しました。当時のデコスタイル主流の中で成功し、1925年パリ博覧会では、"金賞" を獲得しました。 リチャード ジノリは1735年ルネサンス発祥の地フィレンツェの近郊ドッチアにジノリ窯の創始者カルロジノリ侯爵によって開窯した。ルネサンスの時代から現代まで、生活の隅々にまでこよなく芸術を愛し育んできたイタリアの伝統が 280年を経た今も尚、リチャード ジノリが数々のロングセラーを世に送り出し続ける名窯として発展させ続けています。 | |||
