hpi racing 1/43 ランチア デルタ HF インテグラーレ No.5 J.リカルデ/M.クリスティのアルゼンチンクルーです。1992年 WRC 第4戦 サファリラリーにマルティニ レーシングからエントリー、総合3位のマシンです。因みに、チームメイトのJ.カンクネンが総合2位を獲得しました。
マシンは、ランチア デルタの最終バージョンHFインテグラーレで、ターボの大型化、フロントやボンネットのアウトレットの拡大、サスペンションのロングストローク化、ワイドトレッド等の改良がされました。特徴的な立ち上がったリヤスポイラーは、このサファリ仕様では寝かされ、最高速を伸ばす仕様でした。
モデルは、HFインテグラーレ用のマルティニラインで、サファリ特有のアニマルバー、ウイングライト、フロントバンパー上のマッドガード、大型のマッドフラップ、リヤバンパーのステー等が特徴的です。フロントには、カバー付きのライトポッド、赤く塗られた大型のルーフベンチレーター、室内は、ロールケージ、バケットシートにサベルトのシートベルト、リヤガラスには暑さ避けのウインドフィルムも貼られています。
