【オートテンショナーの仕組み】
エンジンのカムシャフト駆動は、エンジンのピストンと、呼気と排気を行うカムの動きを同期させるため、
かみ合い伝道によるタイミングベルトまたはタイミングチェーンが必要となります。
【タイミングベルト用のオートテンショナーの種類】
基本型のオートテンショナーをベースとして、軸方向にコンパクト化したショート型、
全体のサイズを縮小した超小型等があります。
【構造】
油圧式オートテンショナーは、内部に封入した油を利用した減衰構造を持ち、高温時の油の膨張を吸収し
高い密封性を確保することを目的に、空気と油の二層構造とし、油のシールにはオイルシールを用いていています。
また、温度変化や経時変化によるベルト長さの変化に対しても
内部のスプリングにより追従し、張力を調整可能なため、ベルトに摩耗や伸びが生じても
設定張力の変化がほとんどなく、初期に決定した適正なベルト張力を、ベルトが寿命に至るまで維持できます。
